Ability to Block Browser, Arcade and Tesla Theater

Tesla is preparing a parental controls feature that will let users block access to Tesla Arcade, Tesla Theater, and the in-vehicle web browser.
The latest app build includes new strings indicating this capability is coming to the app and very likely to in-car parental controls in a future update. It is not available to users yet, but references include hasArcadeBlocked, hasTheaterBlocked, and hasBrowserBlocked, along with phrases to clear each block. Additional strings such as proto.CarServer.ParentalControlsSettings.OptionalArcadeBlockedCase (and similar ones for the browser and Tesla Theater) link the feature to parental controls.
Based on these references, each app appears to have its own toggle instead of a single master switch, allowing selective blocking.
Animated Badges

This app update introduces animated vehicle badges, similar to those shown in the vehicle under the software tab with update 2026.14.
The animations correspond to special editions such as Performance and Plaid. Some, like the Launch Series of the new Model Y, are not yet included and may arrive in a later update.
The animated badges appear in the same place as the previous static badges at the bottom of the Tesla app.
Signature Edition

A prior app update showed that the Signature Edition of the latest Model S and Model X will include a special gold Plaid badge. With this update, another non-animated badge is also indicated, displaying "Signature 1 of 250."
Feedback and Powered by Grok

Tesla’s AI-based system status in the Energy section has been updated to accept user feedback.
Users can report whether a status was confusing, incorrect, or something else. A new label indicates the AI status is powered by Grok, derived from the string simple_system_status_powered_by_grok, which renders as "Powered by Grok."
- Feedback input label: "Feedback"
- Option: "Confusing"
- Option: "Incorrect description"
- Option: "Something else"
- Prompt: "Something else? Tell us more."
- Confirmation: "Thanks for your feedback"
- Prompt: "What went wrong?"
