Tesla is kicking off the warm season by inviting local communities into its showrooms. Over the weekend, the company emailed owners and enthusiasts across North America to announce a new round of community events. Branded the "Electric Summer” celebration, the gatherings will be family-friendly open houses at multiple retail stores in the U.S. and Canada.
According to Tesla's official event page, the store parties are set for two Saturdays: May 23, 2026, and May 30, 2026. Tesla is encouraging current owners to bring guests, giving prospective buyers a relaxed way to experience the brand outside a high-pressure sales setting.

Fun, Gifts, and Demo Drives
Tesla presents these gatherings as an educational and entertaining weekend activity for families. Highlights include chances to get behind the wheel of the latest vehicles and to see the company’s most advanced driver-assistance software up close.
"Join us at our Electric Summer party at select Tesla locations near you. Bring along your family and enjoy fun activities, receive a gift, and experience Full Self-Driving (Supervised) on a demo drive," the official invitation states. Tesla also notes that attendees can "meet with our team of advisors who can tell you everything about Tesla ownership." Space is limited at participating stores, so those interested should RSVP early. Complimentary gifts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Experiencing the Latest FSD Branch
Including Full Self-Driving (Supervised) demo drives aligns with Tesla’s recent software rollout cadence. The company emphasizes on its portal that the technology "requires active driver supervision and does not make Tesla vehicles autonomous," and recent releases have significantly improved the fleet’s capabilities.
Tesla has initiated a wide rollout of firmware version 2026.14.6.6, which officially deploys FSD V14.3.3. This release carries features from the Spring 2026 Software Update into the autonomous driving branch, so public demo drives during the events are expected to showcase a more unified neural network model. Looking ahead, Tesla engineering is already working on FSD version 15, which is slated to introduce a 10x parameter upgrade.
Driving Fleet Awareness
By opening its showrooms for these summer events, Tesla is putting emphasis on grassroots consumer education. Hands-on driving and firsthand exposure to active safety features often help address common misconceptions about electric vehicles.
With the first wave launching next weekend, it remains to be seen how busy the participating retail stores will be. For friends or family members curious about Tesla’s latest technology or the current cabin interface, visiting a nearby showroom could make for a straightforward weekend plan.
