In update 4.62.3, the app delivers improvements and fixes for iPad, iPhone Duo, and foldables. It also improves support for the iPhone Duo’s right dock.

Tesla now presents the following explanation:
Tesla collects your location to enable Phone Key, Summon, Roadside Assistance, and finding nearby charging and service locations. If you allow location access all the time, Tesla also uses your location in the background, even when the app is closed or not in use, to notify you of Supercharger wait times when you arrive.
Identification Workflow
Tesla leverages Persona to securely verify identity during processes such as trade-ins and processing loans. With this update, Tesla added assets that streamline submitting identification documents, including identification cards and photos of themselves.
