xAI has completed its rebrand to SpaceXAI, introducing a new logo that merges design elements from both xAI and SpaceX.
SpaceXAI announced the update in a post on X this week, stating: "We are now @SpaceXAI." The post included a video presenting the unified look between the division and its parent company.

Blending Two Iconic Designs
The mark combines the stylized A from SpaceX’s wordmark with the original xAI logo, and replaces the X in XAI with SpaceX’s swooping X. The name now appears in all caps.

The branding change reflects the completion of xAI’s shift from a standalone AI startup to a SpaceX subsidiary, a process set in motion earlier this spring when SpaceX acquired xAI. With SpaceXAI established as a dedicated subdivision of SpaceX, the software group is now directly aligned with the company’s orbital hardware efforts.

Putting AI in Orbit
The newly named unit is positioned to play a central role in upcoming SpaceX initiatives. The move comes as SpaceX trades publicly on the open market as one of the world’s most valuable companies, with a market cap of nearly $2 trillion.
Earlier this week, SpaceX filed an application with the FCC to launch and operate 100,000 next-generation satellites. Beyond delivering high-speed internet, the constellations are intended to provide large-scale AI compute capacity in orbit, with SpaceXAI contributing to the digital architecture of these space-based data centers.
