Pet Mode Live Activity on Android

In the 2025 Holiday Update, Tesla added a Live Activity for Dog Mode on iOS. It lets owners monitor the temperature inside the vehicle and view an interior photo that refreshes automatically every minute.
The feature is now coming to Android. This app update references strings that suggest it is being introduced with this release or will arrive soon, including:
- android_native_dog_mode_notif_channel_desc: “Live updates while Pet Mode is keeping the cabin climate set”
- android_native_dog_mode_notif_image_title: “Pet Mode”
Tesla Assist With Photos

The app’s AI-based assistant will soon let owners share photos and documents. This will likely allow the assistant to help with vehicle issues by reviewing a screenshot of the app or a photo of the vehicle’s screen.
New strings in this update that point to this capability include TESLA_ASSIST_UPLOAD_FILE and useTeslaAssistAttachments.
The app also recently added the ability to use the microphone to write to Tesla Assist. This currently only transcribes voice to text. In a future update, you may be able to talk directly to Tesla Assist.
Continue Tesla Assist Conversations

When you start a conversation with Tesla Assist, you can continue it or refer back to it later.
Recent Tesla Assist conversations now appear in the messages section, the same location where service and promo announcements are listed.
These conversations are only kept in the messages section temporarily and automatically disappear after several hours. You can also manually delete them by swiping left on the message or pressing End in the Tesla Assist window.
