Tesla App 4.61.6 Adds Spooky Voice and Sentry Filters

App update 4.61.6 introduces two Halloween-related changes: a spooky-voice option that plays through the vehicle’s external speaker and new Sentry Mode filters in the app’s Dashcam Viewer.

Speak With Spooky Voice

Halloween Mode lets you speak through your vehicle’s external speaker with a spooky voice. The voice is similar to the robotic-like voice that owners can use with Sentry Mode.

To access this option, Halloween Mode must be enabled; it plays sounds and displays animations on the screen as visitors approach.

Trick or Treat Mode

The app’s Sentry Mode viewer now identifies which video clips were recorded while Trick or Treat Mode was active.

Under each video, you’ll now see Sentry or Trick or Treat, making it easier to skip over clips recorded while Trick or Treat Mode was on.

Additionally, a new Spooky tab at the top of the app’s Dashcam Viewer lets you filter by Trick or Treat clips.
