Robotaxi 26.10.3 Adds iPad, iPhone Duo and Live Activity Colors

Robotaxi app update

Tesla has released Robotaxi app version 26.10.3 (and later) with official large‑screen support for iPad, iPhone Duo, and Android tablets and foldables, with the changelog confirming compatibility with big displays.

A Dedicated Big‑Screen Layout

Previously, the iPad version was essentially a scaled‑up phone app. The latest release introduces a layout designed for larger displays, so booking and tracking a ride feels native on tablets and on the iPhone Duo’s inner screen.

This update follows the main Tesla app’s recent big‑screen redesign for the same devices. That update added a panels menu alongside a larger vehicle visualization, and Tesla said it would keep improving the layout in future updates.

Live Activities Now Match Your Cybercab Color

On iOS, Live Activities have been refreshed, as shown in screenshots shared by Ethan McKanna @ethanmckanna. Each ride is assigned a color, and when your Cybercab arrives, its front RGB light bar glows in that color, making it easier to spot your vehicle when multiple Cybercabs are nearby.

The app already indicated which color to look for, but now the lock‑screen Live Activity card glows in the same color. In McKanna’s screenshot, the card is outlined in purple and shows the Cybercab’s license plate, along with a live progress bar showing how close the vehicle is. The same treatment carries over to Robotaxi Live Activities on Apple Watch.

Better Support for Apple’s Liquid Glass

Tesla design studio member Wayne Sun @w4ynesun said that Live Activities now support iOS’s Liquid Glass interface.

It also works with iOS theming. According to Sun, "the card soaks in the theme colors on your device, so it always feels at home."

With more than 300 Cybercabs already running in Austin and more cities coming, the big‑screen version is rolling out now to more devices.
