Tesla has begun deploying software update 2026.20.6.6, which introduces the latest branch of Full Self-Driving (Supervised). This release combines new FSD code with features that reached the wider vehicle fleet last month.
Firmware version 2026.20.6.6 began rolling out over the weekend and includes FSD v14.3.5. This build follows version 14.3.4 from last month and focuses on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
Whats New in FSD v14.3.5
This update serves as a bridge that brings items from the main 2026.20 vehicle firmware branch to FSD users. Key additions include:
Blind Spot Warnings

Tesla has expanded blind spot warnings while parked to the new Model Y, 2021+ Model S, and 2021+ Model X, alerting occupants to approaching cyclists or vehicles in their blind spot before doors are opened. Previously, this was available only on the new Highland Model 3 and Cybertruck.
Dashcam Clip Encryption

To protect privacy, Tesla added dashcam clip encryption in update 2026.20, securing all recorded footage and Sentry Mode files on a USB drive. The feature is enabled by default but can be turned off using the Encrypt Dashcam Recordings toggle in Controls > Safety.
Grok in More Countries
The update brings Grok to more countries, expanding the SpaceXAI-made AI assistant to customers in Chile, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong. However, this change isnt as relevant to FSD users since the software isnt available in these countries (yet).
New Parental Controls

Tesla added new parental controls in update 2026.20, allowing owners to lock down the in-car Web Browser, Tesla Theater, and Tesla Arcade. There are new toggles for Browser, Theater, and Arcade under Controls > Safety > Parental Controls while the vehicle is in Park.
FSD Visualizations in the Tesla App

You can now monitor your vehicles self-driving status remotely. The Tesla app adds a new Self-Driving indicator and the signature blue FSD navigation path for the live driving visualization. The driving animation in the app also supports the Rainbow Road easter egg.
Multi-Camera View While Driving

The multi-camera grid is now fully unlocked. Originally introduced as a diagnostic utility that could only be accessed while in Park, it recently became possible to bring up the grid in Park and have it remain on-screen after shifting into Drive. Now, all camera feeds can be viewed at any time, even while driving down the highway.
You can tap any camera in the grid to view it full-screen, and tap the grid button to return to the multi-camera view.
First Impressions: A Fixed Turning Twitch
To gauge how driving behavior has changed, Tesla enthusiast Zack (@BLKMDL3) tested FSD v14.3.5 over the past couple of days and shared detailed first impressions. One of the biggest improvements is the elimination of a steering wobble seen in the prior build.
In my reviews of v14.3.4 I had previously mentioned a twitch the car would do when entering turn lanes, especially with a wider gap between/separating the straight lanes and turn lane. Theres one turn lane that it would wobble the wheel every single time with v14.3.4 and it appears to have been fixed with v14.3.5! Did 3 laps there with zero issues, so I can confirm that one is fixed for me at least, Zack said in his X post.
Smoother Parking and Better Spot Selection
Parking performance also appears to have been polished in recent FSD builds. During Zacks initial testing, automatic parking maneuvers felt more natural and precise.
I did 4 parking jobs on my drives and each one was pretty good. All of them were quick with a good initial approach angle and steering input. 3/4 of them were perfectly centered, one Id give a 7/10 but could be because the car next to me wasnt parked great.
He also observed that the system tended to choose more convenient spots, often selecting the first or second available opening closest to the destination.
Reduced Driver Nag and Assertive Driving Modes
The update adjusts how aggressively the cabin camera monitors attentiveness. On city streets it seems slightly less strict, but when an alert does occur it expects a quick response.
has been slightly reduced so far that Ive noticed on city streets. When it does eventually flash blue you dont have as much time to touch the wheel, look forward etc.
On the road, FSD v14.3.5 handles complex traffic with greater confidence, including in Teslas bolder driving modes. Zack found both Hurry mode and Mad Max mode to be very assertive, with excellent lane selection. Even so, it remains extremely cautious when creeping on unprotected turns, waiting until the entire road is clear before proceeding, similar to FSD v14 Lite.
Overall, FSD v14.3.5 appears to refine the previous build, smoothing rough edges while delivering a substantial set of general vehicle features and improvements.
