The Tesla Lock Sounds page has been rebuilt with a cleaner design that makes browsing, previewing, and comparing sounds easier. The refreshed library includes hundreds of carefully selected clips, along with new sounds, more categories, and unique collections to help narrow down choices.
A Faster Way to Find the Right Sound
The redesigned page organizes sounds into clear categories such as Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, Vehicles, Tech, Cartoons and Nostalgia. Many sounds are also placed into smaller collections based on a series, platform, or theme, making it easier to explore related options without searching through the entire library.
You can sort sounds by popularity, newest additions, name, or duration. Sorting by shortest is useful when you want a quick beep or short tone rather than a longer audio clip. The Most Popular section now includes the top 50 sounds, while the Recently Added page provides a quick look at the latest additions.
Save Favorites for Later
You can save favorites while browsing, creating a personal shortlist to revisit when you are ready to compare or download your selections.
Your favorite lock sounds are stored locally on your device, keeping the list readily available on the device and browser where it was created.
Choose the Volume That Works for You
Tesla does not currently provide a setting for changing the volume of a custom lock sound. To help, each sound is offered in three volume levels.
The standard version preserves the recorded volume and is the recommended starting point. A low version reduces the sound by 6 dB, while a high version raises it by 6 dB. If the standard download sounds too quiet or too loud on your Tesla, you can switch to one of the alternatives without editing the file yourself.
Carefully Curated and Hand-Edited
Every sound in the library is carefully selected and edited by hand. Recordings are trimmed, volume is normalized, and background noise is removed to produce a cleaner, clearer result.
Visit the redesigned Tesla Lock Sounds library, find a favorite, and make your Tesla yours.
