Tesla Raises Cybertruck Prices by $5,000 — Will It Be Discontinued?

Tesla has increased Cybertruck prices in the U.S., adding $5,000 to its dual‑motor variants. The lowest‑priced Cybertruck now starts at $74,990, and the Premium All‑Wheel Drive starts at $84,990. Cyberbeast remains $99,990. The change arrives about six months after the cheapest Cybertruck briefly cost $59,990.

New Tesla Cybertruck Prices

Tesla updated its U.S. configurator with the new prices without announcing other vehicle changes. The two lower trims rose by roughly 6–7%, while Cyberbeast stays just under $100,000.

Because the Cyberbeast price is unchanged, the gap between Premium AWD and Cyberbeast narrows from $20,000 to $15,000.

The $59,990 Cybertruck Lasted Just 10 Days

The Dual Motor AWD has seen an unusually fast series of price moves.

Tesla introduced it in February at $59,990, with Musk saying the introductory pricing was meant to gauge demand, and Tesla later confirmed the offer would expire February 28.

Less than 10 days later, Tesla raised the price to $69,990, and the truck stayed at that level until now.

With today’s increase, essentially the same truck that briefly cost $59,990 now starts at $74,990, a $15,000 difference in about six months.

Cybertruck Sales Disappoint

Tesla does not report Cybertruck sales separately, but recent totals provide context.

In Q2 2026, Tesla delivered 467,762 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles versus 12,364 categorized as Other Models. That group includes Cybertruck, Semi, and remaining Model S and Model X deliveries. Tesla therefore delivered 37x more Model 3/Y vehicles than S/X/Semi and Cybertruck combined.

Next quarter, Tesla will likely group Cybertruck sales with the Tesla Semi, or provide a single vehicle‑sales number instead of separating them.

Lower pricing earlier this year let Tesla test demand at $59,990, but the truck is now moving in the opposite direction. Tesla has not explained today’s increase. The change alone does not indicate that Cybertruck is being discontinued, but Tesla discontinued the Model S and Model X partly due to low volume, and those vehicles also saw a price increase before they were discontinued.
