The hold

Two setups

Yes. Every kit includes a metal ring you stick to the back of the phone or case. The same applies to an iPhone in a case without built-in magnets. One ring comes per kit.
Magnetic Ordinary holds the phone and you plug in your own cable. Wireless Charging starts charging the moment the phone touches the magnet and includes a Type-C cable. Both include the same base, magnet and metal ring.
The base sits on the edge of the display and the phone is held beside it, not across it. Nothing clamps over the screen.
