Does it dim at night, or will it glare at me?
It dims itself. The bar reads clearly in daylight and drops to a soft level once it is dark, so you are not squinting past your own dash on a night drive. There is no setting to remember and no app to open. This is the single thing most owners tell us they will not buy a light bar without.
I am not handy. Can I really fit this myself?
Most owners do. There is no wire to cut and nothing to drill: the harness plugs into the OBD port and the bar tucks into the dash seam using the trim tools in the box. Owners who have never pulled a panel take about 45 minutes, and up to about 75 if they go slowly on the clips. If you would rather not, any mobile installer or tint shop fits it in well under an hour.
Will this void my Tesla warranty?
