Tesla has introduced a single-person inflatable air mattress for the Model Y, now available through the Chinese Tesla Shop. The company previously offered a two-person Model Y air mattress priced at $225 USD in 2024. This new option is designed for solo use so drivers can activate "Camp Mode" while conserving trunk space.

Optimized for Solo Camping
The mattress is configured to work with one folded second-row seat and the trunk, allowing a single person to "easily activate 'Comfort Mode'" to nap or reduce fatigue. This setup preserves much of the cargo area for equipment and lets one of the second-row seats remain upright if needed.

Priced at ¥659 (roughly $99 USD), the kit includes the inflatable mat, a storage bag, an air pump, and an adapter. With the included pump, inflation is expected to take about 20 seconds and deflation around 70 seconds. The pump connects to a standard 12V cigarette lighter-style outlet. A 12V outlet is located on the left-rear side of the Model Y, near the trunk and above the side-trunk storage. After deflation, the entire kit stores in the lower trunk compartment.

Premium Design and Materials
The mattress uses high-density foam padding that is 8 cm thick (about 3.1 inches) for a soft feel. According to the product description, the internal filling is high-density PU foam, and the surface combines a TPU elastic fabric with polyester, making it durable and "silky smooth.."
Dimensions are 193 x 76 x 8 cm (about 76 × 30 × 3.1 inches), and the weight is 4.59 kg. It is designed to fit the contours of the Model Y interior. This product is not compatible with the new Model Y L, but it works with other Model Y variants equipped with 12V and 16V batteries.
Will it Come to North America?
There is currently no official information on availability in other regions such as North America or Europe. Tesla often launches lifestyle accessories in China first before expanding to the global market, as seen with items like CyberVault and various storage organizers.
The larger two-person version is already a staple in the U.S. shop.
