Tesla has scheduled its 2026 Annual Shareholder Meeting for Thursday, December 3, at 3:00 p.m. CT at Giga Texas in Austin, under the theme “Building a World of Amazing Abundance.”

- London, England: December 3, 7:00 PM

Tesla announced the meeting on X, asking shareholders to support all three proposals on the ballot. “Your vote is critical to helping us maintain that momentum,” Tesla wrote, adding that voting instructions and control numbers will follow soon.
What’s on the Ballot
Proposal One seeks to re-elect Tesla’s three Class I Directors: Elon Musk, Board Chair Robyn Denholm, and JB Straubel. In a letter to shareholders, the Board urged investors to vote with its recommendations on all proposals, “most importantly, the re-election of our Class I Directors.”
On its new shareholder meeting website, Tesla describes Musk as the architect of its transformation, highlights Denholm’s nearly 30 years of executive leadership, and notes Straubel’s decade-plus at the center of Tesla’s technology and battery development. The company has not yet detailed the other two proposals on the site.
Tesla’s Pitch to Shareholders
The prior meeting on November 6, 2025, focused on Tesla’s new mission of “Sustainable Abundance,” shifting emphasis from accelerating sustainable energy to building a post-scarcity future. Shareholders also approved Elon Musk’s historic trillion-dollar pay package and restored his 2018 deal.
Recent milestones outlined on Tesla’s website include delivering over 10 million vehicles, scaling production 10x in six years, and launching the Cybercab, with more than 300 now operating in Austin and rides expected to launch soon in Dallas. Tesla also expanded its Robotaxi service to seven U.S. cities, and FSD (Supervised) now has nearly 1.5 million paid customers and over 15 billion cumulative miles driven.

On the energy front, Tesla has deployed more than 130 GWh of storage and begun producing the new Megapack 3 in Texas. The company also opened its Semi factory in Nevada, started building a high-volume Optimus line in Fremont, and launched its Terafab initiative with SpaceX to begin producing AI chips in-house.
How to Attend in Person
Seating at Giga Texas is limited, so Tesla will use a random drawing to select shareholders for in-person attendance. The entry deadline is Friday, November 6, at 11:59 p.m. CT, with notifications to selected attendees expected to start the week of November 16. Enter the lottery on Tesla’s official annual shareholder meeting website.
Attendees selected to participate must present valid government-issued ID to confirm identity. Spots are non-transferable.
How to Join the Virtual Meeting
The public livestream will be available to all, while shareholders of record as of October 13, 2026, may join the virtual meeting to vote and submit written comments. A 16-digit control number is required to log in.
If your shares are registered directly with Tesla’s transfer agent, Computershare, the control number appears on the Notice of Internet Availability or the paper proxy card you received. If your shares are held through a broker, refer to the voting instruction form provided by your broker.
What to Expect
The presentation and Q&A with Elon Musk and other Tesla executives typically provide the clearest view of the company’s roadmap. Look for updates on Cybercab, FSD, Optimus, and Semi, with the possibility of additional details on the recently unveiled Roadster.
