Tesla will end the $59,990 introductory price for the Cybertruck Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) on February 28, and the company notes on the Cybertruck order page that the price will increase after that date. The change comes days after CEO Elon Musk teased that the lower sticker was a limited-time window to gauge demand.
AWD trim at $59,990: specs and feature changes
Priced $20,000 below the Premium (formerly Long Range) trim, this AWD configuration delivers 325 miles of range and a 4.1-second 0–60 mph time—identical to the more expensive model.
To reach the sub-$60,000 price, the truck uses a durable "tactical grey" textile interior instead of vegan leather and omits the rear-passenger touchscreen and heated second-row seats. The suspension switches from adaptive air to a coil spring setup with adaptive damping, while retaining key "truck" features such as the powered tonneau cover and Powershare bed outlets.
Delivery estimates shift
When this trim was first introduced last week, estimated deliveries were May–June 2026. New orders now show September–October 2026.
What could happen to pricing next
Tesla has not disclosed the new price. With the Premium AWD at $79,990, possible scenarios include a $10,000 increase to $69,990, matching the price of the Rear-Wheel Drive model from last year, or a more modest $5,000 increase. There is also a chance this AWD trim is priced higher than last year’s RWD variant (but still below the Premium trim), with a new entry-level RWD model at $60,000 potentially arriving later.
Orders placed by February 28 can still secure the $59,990 price.
