New Tesla Feature Requests Hub Lets Owners Submit Ideas and Vote

Owners regularly share creative software suggestions for Tesla. Starting today, a new Tesla feature requests page lets you post your ideas, attach images, and vote for your favorites. Each month, the most-voted requests will be featured to help bring them to Tesla’s attention.
Building on Our Community Tools
Recently, we rebuilt our lock sounds library and added a custom license plate generator and a vehicle wraps library. These resources help owners personalize their vehicles. This new hub builds on those tools with a shared software wishlist where owners can publish suggestions and gather support from others.
Submit an Idea and Add Photos
Describe the feature you’d like Tesla to add and upload images to make it clearer. Whether it’s a minor tweak to an existing menu or a brand-new capability, explain the problem and how your idea would address it.
You can access the feature any time under Software > Feature Requests.
Thoughtful submissions give other owners useful context. Explain when you’d use the feature and how it would make things easier or better. A screenshot, mockup, or photo can help illustrate your proposal so others can evaluate it and decide whether to support it.
Vote for the Features You Want
You don’t need to submit an idea to participate. Browse existing suggestions and vote for the features you’d most like to see implemented.
Tesla has sought owner input before. In 2025, Lars Moravy asked owners what they’d like Tesla to improve, prompting requests involving charging, driver profiles, and other features. The aim is for Tesla to review this list as well and consider the most-supported ideas.
First Monthly Roundup on December 1
Every month, we’ll publish the ideas with the most votes and tag Tesla to draw attention to those requests. The first roundup will be published December 1, giving owners time to submit suggestions and vote before the results are shared.
Visit the feature requests page to add your Tesla idea, include a helpful image, and vote for the changes you’d like to see.
