It's a cool feature to have! There's alot of light patterns/ colors to program for your own. For night driving on fsd it's beneficial so that the camera can still see you where there's no streetlights. BUT: 1) you need a secondary power source since you still need a USB for recording 2) The app doesn't work unless you force stop every time you use it again. Android. 21' Model Y

How do I control the colors?

Download the LED Lamp app from the App Store or Google Play and connect over Bluetooth.

How do I install it?

Open the glove compartment, remove the cover, plug the cable into the port, snap the light bar into its slot, test it and put the cover back. It takes about 5 minutes.

What does it do in Sentry Mode?

The light bar stays on while Sentry Mode is active.

Will it drain my battery?

In normal mode the light turns itself off after 10 to 15 minutes of inactivity.
