Tesla rolls out Grok to new countries with update 2026.32.7

Tesla often includes regional changes in routine software releases without listing them in the notes. With the latest update, drivers in several Middle Eastern markets are finding a major artificial intelligence upgrade on their touchscreens.

Following the deployment of software update 2026.32.7 earlier this week, Grok has been enabled across multiple EMEA countries. Owners in Israel and the United Arab Emirates report the conversational assistant is now active in their vehicles.

This expansion aligns with recent changes to Tesla’s regional support materials, which added localized documentation for Grok and indicated it would launch soon in Israel, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan. All of these countries are expected to receive Grok with software update 2026.32.7.

Requirements and Features

To use Grok, vehicles must have an AMD Ryzen infotainment computer and either an active Premium Connectivity subscription or a Wi‑Fi connection. A separate Grok account or subscription is not required in the car.

After installing update 2026.32.7, the Grok icon should automatically appear in the vehicle’s App Launcher.

Introduced in vehicles last year, Grok has evolved from a basic chatbot into a voice-controlled copilot integrated with vehicle systems. Drivers can activate it by tapping the app icon, pressing the microphone button on the steering wheel, or saying “Hey Grok.”

In Assistant mode, Grok can perform a range of hands-free tasks, including:

Routing navigation and adjusting route waypoints on the fly.
Managing phone calls and searching contacts.
Adjusting cabin climate, fan speeds, and seat heaters.
Controlling media playback across streaming services.
Answering troubleshooting questions by sourcing information from the digital owner’s manual.
Setting location-based reminders that ping you when you reach a specific destination.
And more.

Tesla recently added Grok Bot, giving drivers access to agents that can check email, manage their calendar, shop online, and more.

What’s Coming Next for Grok

Grok’s role inside Tesla vehicles is set to expand further in upcoming releases. Tesla has confirmed that hands-free text messaging support is in the pipeline, allowing drivers to dictate, review, and reply to SMS threads using voice.

Looking ahead, Tesla plans to give Grok direct control over Full Self-Driving, enabling passengers to ask the vehicle to pull over, change lanes, or choose parking spots through natural language commands.
