Tesla has lowered the entry cost of its quickest truck by removing the $15,000 Luxe Package from the top-tier Cybertruck Cyberbeast in North America, cutting the starting price from $114,990 to $99,990.
The change moves the Cyberbeast into a more competitive bracket and places all three Cybertruck trims below $100,000. The trade-off is the removal of bundled benefits that previously offered long-term savings.
What’s No Longer Included With a Cyberbeast
Prior to this week, the $15,000 premium combined a range of software and service perks. To reach the sub-$100,000 price point, those inclusions have been removed. No longer included:
Full Self-Driving (FSD): The Cyberbeast previously included a lifetime license for Tesla’s advanced driver assistance software. Now, since Tesla discontinued the one-time purchase option for FSD earlier this month, new owners will need to pay for a monthly subscription to use it.
Free Lifetime Supercharging: Formerly a major value for high-mileage drivers. With this gone, you’ll pay at Superchargers like everyone else.
Four-Year Premium Service: A comprehensive protection plan that covered items such as wheel and tire damage, windshield protection, and recommended maintenance.
Free Premium Connectivity: Normally a $99 per year subscription, Tesla’s Premium Connectivity provides satellite-view maps, live traffic, in-car streaming, and more.
Earlier this month, Tesla also made the FSD license in the Luxe Package non-transferable. The Luxe Package remains available on the Model S and Model X, though both are slated to be discontinued later this year.
The New Cybertruck Lineup
This pricing update coincides with the launch of the new Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD trim. The current lineup:
Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD: $59,990
Cybertruck Premium (formerly Long Range) AWD: $79,990
Cybertruck Cyberbeast: $99,990
Elon Musk has confirmed that the Dual Motor AWD’s $59,990 base price is a 10-day limited offer, so the entry price for the Cybertruck is likely to increase soon.
