FSD (Supervised) v14.2.2.5

Tesla FSD (Supervised) v14.2.2.5 feature in update 2025.45.10

Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14.2.2.4 includes the following:

  • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder to use higher-resolution features, improving detection and handling of emergency vehicles, roadway obstacles, and human gestures. (New in FSD V14.2)
  • Added Arrival Options so you can choose where FSD should park: Parking Lot, Street, Driveway, Parking Garage, or Curbside.
  • Enhanced behavior to pull over or yield for emergency vehicles (e.g., police cars, fire trucks, ambulances).
  • Integrated navigation and routing into the vision-based neural network to better respond in real time to blocked roads and detours.
  • Introduced an additional Speed Profile for finer control over preferred driving style.
  • Improved performance around static and dynamic gates.
  • Refined offsetting behavior for road debris (e.g., tires, tree branches, boxes).
  • Better handling of several scenarios, including unprotected turns, lane changes, vehicle cut-ins, and school buses.
  • Increased system reliability by improving how FSD manages system faults and recovers from degraded operation.
  • Added an alert if residue accumulates on the interior windshield and could affect the front camera’s visibility. If needed, schedule Service for cleaning.
  • Added automatic narrow-field washing for rapid, efficient front-camera self-cleaning, and optimized aerodynamics wash at higher speeds. (2026+ Model Y only)
  • Camera visibility may increase the sensitivity of attention monitoring. (New in FSD v14.2.1)

Upcoming Improvements

  • Overall smoothness and sentience.
  • Parking spot selection and parking quality.

Arrival Options

Tesla Arrival Options feature in update 2025.45.10
  • Choose an arrival type such as Parking Lot, Street, Driveway, Parking Garage, or Curbside for Robotaxi-style drop-offs.
  • Your chosen arrival type and preferred parking positions are saved per destination.
  • A reasoning model evaluates what makes sense for your destination and selects a sensible default.
  • The navigation pin updates based on the selected Arrival Option. (Added to release notes in FSD v14.2.2)

Speed Profiles

Tesla Speed Profiles feature in update 2025.45.10

FSD (Supervised) now determines speed using your driver profile, posted speed limits, and surrounding traffic.

  • Added Speed Profile SLOTH, with lower speeds and more conservative lane choices than CHILL.
  • Added Speed Profile MAD MAX, with higher speeds and more frequent lane changes than HURRY.
  • Driver profile more strongly influences behavior; a more assertive profile yields a higher maximum speed.
  • The right scroll wheel up/down now adjusts the Speed Profile, instead of directly changing your precise max speed offset in mph/kph.

UI Improvements

Tesla UI Improvements feature in update 2025.45.10
  • You can now view Self-Driving stats under Controls > Autopilot. (Added to release notes in FSD v14.2.2)
  • Start Self-Driving with a tap on the touchscreen from Park, or while driving.
  • Adjust settings such as Speed Profile and Arrival Options directly from the Autopilot visualization on the center display.

Brake Confirm

Brake Confirm for the Start Self-Driving button is now off by default. When off, engaging Start Self-Driving does not require pressing and releasing the brake.

To enable it, go to Autopilot > Brake Confirm.

Full Self-Driving (Supervised)

Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature in update 2025.45.10

With your supervision, Full Self-Driving (Supervised) can operate the vehicle on most roads: it can begin from a parked state, perform lane changes, follow forks on your navigation route, navigate around other vehicles and objects, make left and right turns, and park at your destination. You and any authorized drivers must remain attentive and cautious. This feature does not make the vehicle autonomous. Do not become complacent.

Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is enabled on your vehicle. To engage it, press the Start Self-Driving button on the touchscreen, or press the right scroll wheel button once. You can disable Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Autopilot Settings.

Grok with Navigation Commands (Beta)

Grok can now add and edit navigation destinations. For example, you can ask it to navigate to the best Thai restaurant nearby, find a Supercharger within walking distance of a coffee shop, or plan a romantic sightseeing route. Requires Premium Connectivity or a Wi‑Fi connection. Conversations are anonymous to Tesla and are not associated with your vehicle.

Set Grok’s personality to Assistant to use Navigation Commands. Open App Launcher > Grok, or long-press the steering wheel voice button after logging in to Grok.

Tesla Photobooth

Use in-car cameras to take selfies and apply filters, stickers, and emojis. Share photos from the Tesla App. The vehicle must be in Park. Requires Tesla App version 4.51.5+.

Open App Launcher > Toybox > Photobooth.

Paint Shop now supports Cybertruck with new wraps, tint choices, and license plate designs.

Open App Launcher > Toybox > Paint Shop.

Navigation Improvements

You can reorder navigation favorites, set Home or Work by dropping a pin anywhere on the map, and see suggestions based on recent trips and habits.

Automatic HOV Lanes Routing

Navigation can automatically use high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes based on time, passenger count, and road restrictions.

Go to Controls > Navigation > Use HOV.

Supercharger Site Maps

Tap "View Site Map" to see a 3D view at select Superchargers. When navigating to a pilot location, the site layout and live occupancy (Available / Occupied / Down) appear upon arrival.

Phone Left On Wireless Charger

The vehicle will chime a few seconds after the doors close if a phone remains on the wireless charger and no occupants are detected.

Go to Controls > Locks > Phone Left On Wireless Charger Chime.

Phone Left Behind

The vehicle will chime a few seconds after the doors close if a phone key is left inside the cabin or a phone remains on the wireless charger and no occupants are detected. Phone key detection requires UWB-supported devices.

Go to Controls > Locks > Phone Left Behind Chime.

Save Charge Limit by Location

While parked, you can save a charge limit for your current location. The vehicle will automatically apply it the next time you charge there.

Go to Controls > Charging.

SpaceX Docking Simulator

Practice docking with the International Space Station in a 3D simulator that uses controls inspired by real NASA astronaut interfaces.

To play, shift into Park (P), then open App Launcher > Arcade > SpaceX.

Minor Updates

  • Enable or disable wireless phone charging pads in Controls > Outlets & Mods.
  • Receive a mobile alert if any cabin door is left open while Dog Mode is active.
  • Add Spotify tracks to your queue directly from the search screen.
  • Enjoy rainbow accent lighting during Rave Cave that syncs with your music. Open App Launcher > Toybox > Light Sync. (Added in update 2025.44.25.5)
  • Scroll seamlessly through large Spotify playlists, albums, podcasts, audiobooks, and your library without paging. (AMD Ryzen required)
  • Lock Sound now includes Light Cycle from Tron Mode. Go to App Launcher > Toybox > Boombox > Lock Sound.

New Wheel Options

New wheel designs from the Standard Model 3 and Model Y are now available for all vehicles in the visualization.

The 18" Prismata for Model 3 and the 18" Aperture wheels are available across models in the tire section. To view or select them, go to Controls > Service and choose tires and wheels.

Express Lanes

Support for Express Lanes has been added on some vehicles. Similar to HOV or toll lanes, these can be faster and may charge fees depending on occupancy, vehicle type, and time of day.

You can toggle Express Lanes usage in navigation settings. Availability varies by vehicle as this may still be under testing.

Supercharger Live Maps Shows Exact Models

New Supercharger Site Maps provide a real-time 3D rendering of a site and also show which vehicle model is charging at each stall, including distinctions such as original Model Y, new Model Y, Cybertruck, or a non-Tesla.

These maps help identify open stalls, accessibility options, and pull-through locations.

Dashcam Viewer Zoom Support

In Dashcam Viewer, pinch to zoom into a video and pan while zoomed to view other areas. Note: Limited to vehicles with the AMD Ryzen infotainment processor.

Camera Visibility Warning Improvement

Camera visibility warnings now identify which camera’s view is obscured, making it clear which camera needs cleaning. The display resembles the Dashcam Viewer with an overlay indicating the camera’s location. Labels include Front (for a front camera beneath the windshield) and fascia (for the front bumper camera).

V4 Supercharger Visualization

Charging visualizations on the vehicle display include distinct visuals for many charger types. With this update, a unique visualization for V4 Superchargers has been added.

Wrap & License Plate Icons

Access vehicle wraps and license plate customization via Controls > Software. Below the visualization, you’ll see a photo of the selected license plate and a wrapping paper icon that opens vehicle visualization options. This icon replaces the previous colored square used for the Colorizer.

Car Wash Mode Notification

When you’re near a car wash, a reminder now appears so you can easily enable Car Wash Mode. This is part of broader Car Wash Mode enhancements in this update.

Parking Brake

The option to manually enable the emergency brake (parking brake) has been removed from the vehicle’s display. Previously located near the bottom of the Controls > Safety menu, this toggle is no longer present.

You can still engage the emergency brake by using the gear stalk or the Park icon on the touchscreen.

Car Wash Mode Redesign

Car Wash Mode has been redesigned. It now shows a vehicle visualization on the right and a checklist on the left. The checklist highlights items not in the correct state (e.g., an open window or trunk) with a red indicator.

The "Enable Free Roll" option is more prominent, making it easier to put the vehicle into neutral when needed.

Switch to Bluetooth

If your phone is connected over Bluetooth and the car detects it is playing audio, you’ll be prompted to switch to the Bluetooth source so audio plays through the vehicle speakers.

This reduces confusion caused by playback delays and streamlines switching to Bluetooth without manually opening the Bluetooth app.

New Visualizations With Unreal Engine

The new visualizations previously available on 2026 Model S and Model X are now on all 2021+ Model S and Model X vehicles. Improvements include updated instrument cluster and menu visuals, plus the ability to freely rotate your vehicle’s visualization in Controls to view from any angle.

The parked pop-up module for opening doors and trunk is now interactive, allowing pan and zoom.

Air Suspension Controls

Air suspension controls for Model S and Model X now appear in the main Controls section, instead of a separate Suspension tab. The 2026 models already include this. 2025 and earlier vehicles retain the older, more detailed Suspension menu instead of the simplified 2026 layout.

Boomerang Fu Game Removed

Boomerang Fu has been removed and replaced by SpaceX Docking Simulator. The game’s license likely expired this year; it was introduced in last year’s holiday update.

Favorites On Map

Favorites and Home/Work enhancements now pin your favorites, Home, and Work locations directly on the map. Home/Work icons appear in the Navigate box with your top two suggestions underneath, improving orientation and making it easier to see when you’re near a saved place.

View Dashcam Storage

You can now view your Dashcam USB storage, including space used by Dashcam and total drive size.

Go to Controls > Safety and scroll to Dashcam.

Dashcam Filters

Dashcam Viewer now categorizes recordings into additional groups beyond the Dashcam and Sentry tabs. Footage is automatically sorted by trigger type (e.g., Honk, Manual Save, Handle Pull, etc.).

Hebrew Language Added

Hebrew is now available as a touchscreen language.

To change the language, shift into Park and go to Controls > Display > Touchscreen Language.

Service Mode Improvements

Thermal Control Components Panel Added to Service Mode

A Thermal Control Components panel has been added to support thermal Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) diagnosis. It lets you individually control thermal components, set targets, and sweep across operating ranges with real-time feedback. A 3D static view of the heat pump is included, showing the radiator, blower motor, louver, and pumps.

Models: Model S (2021+), Model 3 (Heat Pump), Model X (2021+), Model Y, Cybertruck

Airbag Panel Update - New Disarm Airbag and Resistance Check Routines

The Airbags panel now includes a routine to disarm the airbags, removing the need to disconnect the Low Voltage (LV) battery when diagnosing the Safety and Restraints system. After disarming, you can tap individual components (e.g., an airbag or pretensioner) to view resistance readings.

Models: Model S (2021+), Model 3, Model X (2021+), Model Y, Cybertruck
