First Look at Tesla Update 2026.32 [PHOTOS]

Tesla has begun deploying its latest feature update to customer vehicles. Software update 2026.32.3 is now rolling out, adding practical interface refinements and media-related changes to the touchscreen.

The timing aligns with the company’s usual release cadence. After a feature-packed Summer Update not too long ago, this autumn’s updates are expected to be slimmer, with larger additions held for the annual holiday update later this year.

Alongside 2026.32, the Full Self-Driving branch is receiving FSD v14.3.9 for HW4 vehicles, and owners with HW3 vehicles are getting FSD v14.2 Lite.

Redesigned Wheel Selection UI

The most visible change in 2026.32 is a full redesign of the Wheel & Tire configuration screen under Controls > Service.

Previously, owners selected wheels from a text-based dropdown next to a small thumbnail. The new interface replaces the dropdown with a large visual grid that shows full-color renders of available styles.

Each design now appears side by side in both uncovered form and with the stock aerodynamic covers installed. For example, 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 choices are shown with aero covers next to a No Cover card that exposes the spokes. Here is what the previous menu looked like:

Choosing the correct setup also informs range estimates in the Energy app, since removing aerodynamic hub covers increases drag and can slightly reduce highway efficiency.

The updated text in the menu suggests more factory wheel variants may be added in the future. The streamlined layout also ties into a feature spotted in a recent Tesla app update, indicating owners may soon be able to toggle aero wheel caps on or off from their phones instead of the car’s screen.

Apple Music Search, European Recall, and Security Patches

Apple Music now supports searching within your personal library. Go to Search, choose Apple Music, and use the new Library tab to quickly find saved songs, albums, and custom playlists without wading through global Apple Music results.

For owners in Europe, the release provides an over-the-air remedy for EU Recall Submission 2026_103555, restoring full compliance with UNECE Regulation No. 135 regarding lateral side-impact standards. After installation, the compliance flag clears automatically with no additional owner action required.

The update also includes undisclosed security patches.
