Three Tesla Noise Solutions: Choose by the Job, Then the Price

A universal strip, a model-specific kit and panel sound deadening are different purchases. Choose the one that addresses the sound you want to change.

TeslaHubs Team · Seller’s product guide · September 2026

TeslaHubs sells ProGuard. This guide compares the jobs rather than claiming a controlled head-to-head noise test.

Option 1: A Model-Specific Seal Kit

1

A model-specific kit with fitting guidance

ProGuard starts at $79.99 for the listed Model 3/Y variants. It provides shaped rubber seals and fitting guidance for the selected vehicle.

The current selector has separate vehicle-year variants. Match your model, build year and refresh before ordering; ask TeslaHubs if your version is unclear.

Option 2: A Universal Strip

2

Generic strips from a marketplace, sold by the roll

You need to establish the right profile, dimensions and placement. Compare the actual listing and its instructions.

A universal product is not automatically bad, and a higher price is not proof that another kit will fit.

Option 3: Panel Sound Deadening

3

Butyl mats and foam under the panels

Panel treatment addresses sound transmission and vibration through the areas treated. Ask which parts the job includes and what noise it targets.

Compare an actual installation quote and scope. This is different work from fitting an extra seal at a seam.

Compare the job before the total. A lower-priced strip, a model-specific kit and panel treatment make sense for different concerns.

Which Job Matches Your Car?

For wind at covered seams, consider a fit-checked sealing kit. For a new fault or damaged factory seal, start with inspection. For panel-related noise, investigate the appropriate treatment.

My car is the new model 3 Performance which is already very quiet compared to the previous model 3 but I still noticed an improvement with less road noise.

The kit arrived well-packed, and each part was labeled correctly. I scanned the QR code provided, and that made the install easier.

Questions Before Ordering

Why not just buy the cheapest universal strips?
Compare the exact kit, fitting locations, current price and support. ProGuard is not the only multi-location option. Current Model 3/Y variants cost $79.99.
Is a seal kit safe for my Tesla?
Use the correct vehicle variant and follow the fitting guide. Check door and hatch movement after installation; do not force a closure if a strip interferes. Ask Tesla about vehicle-warranty circumstances. ProGuard’s 2-year product warranty is separate.
Will the kit fit my exact model?
Match the exact model, build year and refresh in the current selector. Ask TeslaHubs before ordering if the fit is unclear.
What if it does not work for me?
Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unworn, tagged and in their original packaging. Return shipping is customer-paid unless faulty or incorrect. Read the policy before installation.
