People Read a Tesla's Trim Through the Spokes
Stand in any parking lot and look at the Teslas. Same glass roof, same silhouette, often the same paint. The one detail that separates the Performance from the standard car at a glance is the color of the calipers: Performance trims wear red. Standard trims wear gray.

On a standard Model Y or Model 3 that gray is also iron, and iron picks up orange at the edges over time. So the most-looked-at detail on the wheel is the one telling everyone which trim you bought, and it is aging faster than the rest of the car.
The red is not the brake. The red is the look. And the look is what everyone else sees.
How to Get the Red Without Buying the Trim or Painting the Brakes
A red aluminum shell, cut to your caliper, clamped on with stainless steel.
- Aluminum shell, powder-coated. Aluminum does not rust, and brake heat does not warp it the way it warps plastic.
- 304 stainless steel clips and screws. Mechanically clamped to the caliper body. Zero glue holding it on.
- Cut per model. Seven fitments, from the 2017 Model 3 to the 2025 Juniper and Model S/X.
- No drilling, no modifications. Pads, rotor and brake lines are never touched.
- Reversible. Unscrew it and the car is stock again, for a lease return or a sale.
- Everything in the box. Four covers, clips, screws, Loctite, tools and a video install guide.

Straight talk: these are covers, not Performance brakes. They do not make the car stop harder, and they are not made for cars that already have Performance or Plaid calipers. What they do is make your car wear the detail people read from 30 feet away.

Four Finishes. Red Is the Performance Tell.
Performance Red is the trim tell, the color people read as the fast one. Plaid Yellow is the loudest of the four. Cyber Cyan is the one people cannot place, which is the point. Stealth Black is for owners who want the gray gone and the calipers to disappear behind dark wheels.

Thirty Minutes in the Driveway
- Wheel off. Jack one corner and pull the wheel. The caliper is right there.
- Hook the shell on. It is cut for your model, so it only seats one way.
- Clip and screw. Stainless clip behind the caliper, a drop of the included Loctite, tighten with the included tool.
- Wheel back on. Torque the lugs, next corner. Four corners, about 30 minutes, with the video guide open on your phone.

The Only Way to Get This Wrong Is to Pick the Wrong Car. Here Is How Not To.
Read our 1-star reviews and they say the same thing: the covers did not fit the car they went on. Every one of them is about fit, so here is the ten-second check that prevents it.
- Model Y from 2025 (full-width light bar front and rear)? Pick Juniper, not Model Y.
- Model 3 from 2024 (slim headlights, no front fog lights)? Pick Highland, not Model 3.
- Model Y with a VIN starting XP7? It was built in Berlin. Pick Model Y Berlin.
- Model S or X? Pick the year range. 2018-2022 and 2023-2025 are different shells.
- Performance or Plaid trim? Skip it. Your calipers are already painted and a different shape.

Straight Answers Before You Order
Will people be able to tell they are covers?
From standing height, you see color and shape through the spokes, and the shell is cut to your caliper's shape. One reviewer called them "a fabulous upgrade to the car." With the wheel off, anyone can see it is a cover, and it is.
Why not the cheaper set on Amazon?
Check three things on any set: what it is made of (plastic or painted metal, or powder-coated aluminum), how it holds on (glue, or stainless clips and screws), and whether it is cut for your exact caliper or sold as universal. Ours is aluminum, clipped, cut per model, and backed by a lifetime defect warranty. If a cheaper set passes all three, buy that one.
Will they fly off at highway speed?
They are held by 304 stainless steel clips and screws, with Loctite on the threads, not by glue. Adhesive is what fails on cheap covers when the brake gets hot. Ours has none holding it on.
Do they change how the car brakes?
No. The shell sits over the outside of the stock caliper. Nothing touches the pads, the rotor or the brake lines. The stock caliper does all the braking, exactly as before.
What about brake heat?
The shell is aluminum alloy, not plastic, so brake heat does not warp it. It is powder-coated aluminum, not paint on a hot iron part.
Can I take them off when I sell or return a lease?
Yes. Undo the screws, unhook the shell, and the caliper is exactly as the factory left it. That is the whole difference from paint.
What if they do not fit?
Every set is covered by the 30-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee and our 30-day return window, plus a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Pick your car with the check above and email hello@teslahubs.com if you are unsure.
