“all I see is 3/Y accessories. Every site I’ve visited has a small selection for the Model X” a new owner wrote on r/TeslaModelX in August 2025. So we went through a year of Model X orders and kept seven things with a real Model X fit. #1 is next: the five seams it seals, and the one it does not.
Looking for a windshield sunshade, floor mats, a phone mount or wipers? We do not sell any of the four for the Model X, so they are not on this list. Why, below.
TeslaHubs™ ProGuard Noise and Weather Seal Kit
Fit: two cuts, labelled on the product page Model X 2016-2021 and Model X 2022-2026 (Refresh / Plaid). Same price for both. 2021 cars: the product page puts a 2021 in the 2016-2021 cut. One 2021 owner told us his kit did not fit (his review is below); his review does not say which cut he ordered. If yours is a 2021 with the refresh interior, message our support with your build month before you order.

Five seams sealed. One it does not reach.
“The Model X has a TON of wind noise. My Model Y was damn near silent in comparison.” That is an owner on r/TeslaModelX this June. In the same thread the owner of a 2026 X wrote: “It is crazy that a $100k car has issues like this!”
ProGuard is a set of rubber strips cut for the Model X that press onto 3M™ tape. The Model X strip map (above) marks five positions: the hood, the front pillar, the door sill, the pillar behind the front door, and the rear liftgate. The strips close the gaps at those seams, so they act on wind getting in at the doors. They do not act on tire roar from coarse asphalt. 100% safe for your Tesla: no drilling, no cutting.
What it does not cover: the roof-side seal of the falcon-wing doors. The Model X map draws no strip there, and one owner on r/TeslaModelX wrote that “the kit that came for my model X is completely useless for the falcon wing doors”. If your noise comes from the top of a falcon-wing door, this kit is not the fix.
“I did it on the X. Personal not professional. My humble opinion is that it works to a point.”KuruVillain, r/TeslaModelX, February 8, 2026, on the ProGuard PLUS kit he fitted to his Model X
The same owner went on: “the difference is there in the quiet conversations that you can have in the cabin, the music you don’t have to turn up too much”.
Two buyers told us it did not fit, so read them. Jim, August 10, 2026, 1 star: “This does not fit my 2021 model X”. B.C.Y.B., January 18, 2026, 3 stars: “Doesn't entirely fit on 2023 model x and very little information available how to install”. Both are published in full on the product page, and B.C.Y.B. ordered before the separate 2022-2026 cut went on sale. So check before you peel: lay each strip against its seam with the tape backing still on. If one does not match your car, do not stick it. Message our support with a photo of the seam, and if the fit is still not right, start a return within 30 days of delivery. Our refund policy asks for items unused and in the original packaging, which is why the dry fit comes first.
If service has already adjusted your doors, you may know this one: “It goes to SC, gets fixed, then days later is no longer fixed,” a Model X owner wrote on Tesla Motors Club. $94.99 for either cut, with a 2-year warranty, is a small thing to try before the next appointment.
The trade-off: It takes patience: every strip is pressed along its whole length. It does not reach the falcon-wing roof seal or tire roar. And not every X needs it (“You don’t need it. I don’t have wind noise from the doors on my MXP,” one owner wrote on r/TeslaModelX), so if yours is quiet at 70 mph, skip it.

After it arrives, three things decide whether it works on your car. Strips letting go: the tape needs a clean, dry seam and firm pressure along the whole strip, so do it in a dry garage, not on a cold wet morning. No change heard: the gain is wind at the door seams at highway speed, not tire roar. Placement: place each strip by the Model X strip map and the step-by-step manual in the kit. The install video shows another model, so use it for the pressing technique only.
TeslaHubs™ SpaceBox Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
Fit: Model X 2021-2026, AMD Ryzen only. Check before you buy: Controls > Software > Additional Vehicle Information. If it does not say AMD Ryzen, SpaceBox is not for your car. 2021 cars: a 2021 X with the Ryzen computer qualifies; one without it does not.
CarPlay and Android Auto on the landscape screen, without a cable
“Anyone find an Apple Play add that works for the 2019 MX?” an owner asked on r/TeslaModelX in June 2025. The honest answer is in the fit line above: this one is for 2021 and newer cars. As of October 2026 no Tesla runs Apple CarPlay natively. Tesla is reported to be working on it and has given no date.
SpaceBox plugs into the car's USB port and connects to your phone wirelessly, so CarPlay or Android Auto opens on the car's screen with your own maps, music and messages.
$139.99, against a $299.00 list price on the product page.
Fit is the whole decision on this one. Check for AMD Ryzen in the car before you tap.
The trade-off: It is a box on the console and a cable to the USB port, and it adds a step when you get in while it connects. A 2016-2020 X: skip it.

One adapter for CCS fast chargers and J1772 posts
The X is the long-trip car, and the Supercharger network is the easy part. The trouble starts at a hotel or a highway stop that only has a CCS fast charger or a J1772 post. A poster in a Model X charging thread on r/TeslaModelX gave the advice in one line: “Get one that supports both ccs and j1772 so you don’t have to worry which one to use.”
OmniVolt is that: two adapters in one body, CCS1 for DC fast charging and an 80A J1772 side for Level 2 posts. It is UL 2252 Listed.
It opens up 12,000+ stations. $139.00, against $259.00 on the product page. Order it three weeks before a trip: our shipping policy gives 1-2 business days to dispatch and 7-15 days in transit.
The trade-off: If you only charge at home and at Superchargers, you do not need it. Ranked by total sales across every Tesla it fits, not Model X alone.

Caliper colour without the paint shop
“I have a blue MX 2022 and have always hated the black brake caliper covers,” one owner wrote under a Model X video. The usual objection to fixing that with covers is fair too: “They look awful IRL and they're really noticeable.” Thin plastic ones do.
These are aluminium and powder-coated, cut per caliper, in four finishes: Performance Red, Cyber Cyan, Plaid Yellow and Stealth Black. They go over the factory calipers with a clip system. Install takes about 30 minutes.
From $169.99 for the X, against $350.00 on the product page.
No review on the product page names a Model X, so we are not quoting one. The covers carry a 4.73-star average across all models, and you can read those reviews there.

TeslaHubs™ Aluminium Rim Protectors
Fit (from the product page): Model X Cyberstream 20-inch, 2021 and newer: order the 20-inch set. The product page names it 'Überturbine Black / 20 inch'; that is the set its fit table gives for the Model X Cyberstream 20. The 22-inch Turbine is not offered yet (waitlist only), and older Model X wheels are not listed. 2021 cars: on 20-inch Cyberstream wheels you qualify.
Let the ring take the curb, not the wheel
“Picked up a refresh X the first of May, got floor mats, sun shades and an organizer for the console...would like rim protectors for the 20" wheels.” That is an owner under a Model X accessories video, and another on r/ModelX put the case for them: “If it's gonna happen, better to chew these things up than your expensive new rims.”
These are four black aluminium rings that seat on the wheel's outer lip, so the curb meets the ring first. Install is 15 minutes, with no tools and no jack.
$199.99 for a set of four. An owner on r/TeslaModelX on what mobile curb-rash repair costs: “Usually charge between 100-150 per wheel.”
The trade-off: If your X is on 22s, this is not for you yet. Tell your tire shop the rings are on before a tire change. If you like the bare factory lip, skip them. Ranked by sales to all Tesla owners, not Model X alone.

They fit your car: see the 20-inch set. Stay on 2016-2021 here for everything else.
#6 is hidden for 2022-2026. The door lights are the rectangular kind, and the refresh X uses a round puddle lamp.
TeslaHubs™ Midnight Glow Door Lights
Fit: we list them for pre-refresh cars (2016-2020) only. The listing says 2016-2024, but refresh cars use a round puddle lamp, so we do not recommend them for a 2021 or newer X. Which doors: order the 2-light set: it is for the two front doors. We have not confirmed the lights on the falcon-wing doors, so we do not point Model X owners to the 4-light set.
A sharp projection on the ground when the front doors open
The factory puddle lights on an older X are a plain white wash. These replace them with laser projectors in aluminium housings, behind glass lenses, and they plug into the factory light connector.
Why they stop at 2020: “It is a 2022 refreshed and the current puddle lights are round not rectangular,” a Model X owner wrote under a puddle-light video. These are the rectangular kind.
$29.99 for the two front doors.
The trade-off: Pure looks, and front doors only on this list. If your car is a 2021 refresh or newer, skip them.

See it for Model X · $49.993 mistakes Model X owners make with accessories
- Buying a part cut for a Model Y. Most of what a Tesla store shows you is Model 3 and Y stock. The X has its own seams, its own wheels and falcon-wing doors. ProGuard ships a Model X cut with its own strip map, and the caliper covers come in S/X cuts. A Model Y kit leaves gaps or ends in the bin.
- Assuming a Model S part fits because the two share a platform. Some do: the caliper covers are one S/X cut. Many do not: the Model S rim protectors are 19 and 21 inch, the X needs the 20-inch set, and nothing on a Model S has to work around a falcon-wing door. Check the fit line, not the family resemblance.
- Ordering for the wrong generation. The 2021 refresh changed the computer, the puddle lamps and the wheels. A CarPlay box will not connect to a pre-Ryzen car, rectangular door lights do not fit the round refresh lamp, and the rim protectors are cut for refresh wheels only. That is why this page has a year switch, and why a 2021 owner should check each fit line.
How we ranked this list
We went through a year of US orders from Model X owners, October 2025 to October 2026, and kept only what has a real Model X fit.
#1 and #2 are ranked by Model X orders, and they were not close to the rest: ProGuard first, SpaceBox second. #3 to #7 are not all counted the same way. OmniVolt, the rim protectors and the headrest pillow are placed by 12-month sales to all Tesla owners, the caliper covers by sales of the shared Model S and X cut, and the door lights by Model X orders alone. Each item says which count it is.
Pick your year at the top and anything that does not fit your car drops out of the list. A 2021 Model X sits on the line between generations, so every item whose fit splits there says what a 2021 owner should check.
We make and sell everything here, which is how we can see what Model X owners actually order. It is also why every item tells you what it does not do and who should skip it.
What we left off, and why
A windshield sunshade. It is the accessory Model X owners keep asking for, because of the panoramic windshield. “Also you need sun shade for windshield,” as one owner put it on r/ModelX. We do not sell one for the Model X, so it is not on this list.
Floor mats, a phone mount and wiper blades. Every other Model X list has them. We do not sell any of the three for the X either. We would rather point you to seven things we can back for your year than pad the list with parts cut for another car.
Also left off: a dash light with a 4.14-star average and no model year on its Model X option, and a screen protector that sold too few sets to X owners to rank.

Questions Model X owners ask
Does the seal kit do anything for the falcon-wing doors?
Not for their roof-side seal. The Model X strip map on the product page marks five positions (hood, front pillar, door sill, the pillar behind the front door, rear liftgate) and draws no strip along the top of the falcon-wing doors. If that is where your noise is, this kit is not the fix.
Which of these fit my Model X?
Every Model X from 2016: ProGuard (pick your cut), OmniVolt (cars built before February 2020 need Tesla's CCS retrofit first) and the headrest pillow. 2021 and newer with AMD Ryzen: SpaceBox. 2021 and newer on 20-inch Cyberstream wheels: rim protectors. 2018-2025, not Plaid or Performance: caliper covers. Pre-refresh cars (2016-2020): door lights. The year switch at the top filters the list for you.
I have a 2021. Which side of the year switch am I on?
It depends on the item, which is why each fit line names 2021. ProGuard's product page puts 2021 in the 2016-2021 cut, but one 2021 owner reported a poor fit, so message our support first if your car has the refresh interior. SpaceBox and the rim protectors fit a 2021 with the Ryzen computer and Cyberstream 20s. Door lights are for pre-refresh cars only.
How long does the install take?
15 minutes for the rim protectors (no tools, no jack), about 30 minutes for the caliper covers and about 5 minutes a door for the door lights. ProGuard takes longer, because each strip is pressed along its whole length: do it in a dry garage and do not rush it.
What if it does not fit or I do not like it?
30-day returns: start a return in our Return Center within 30 days of delivery. Our refund policy asks for items unused and in the original packaging, so check the fit before you install. ProGuard and SpaceBox also carry a 2-year warranty.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free on every order. Our shipping policy gives 1-2 business days to dispatch and 7-15 days in transit to US addresses.
Is TeslaHubs part of Tesla?
No. Not affiliated with Tesla Motors, Inc. Everything on this list is an aftermarket product that TeslaHubs makes and sells.
Start with #1: ProGuard for your Model X
It is the item Model X owners order from us most, for wind noise at the door seams. It comes in a 2016-2021 cut and a 2022-2026 cut (2021 refresh cars: check with support first), and it carries a 2-year warranty. It seals five seams and not the falcon-wing roof seal. Check each strip against your car before you peel the tape; you have 30 days from delivery to return it.
