How we ranked a list for a car this new
Most "Model Y accessories" lists were written for the 2020-2024 car and had "2026" added to the title. We did it the other way round: we took a year of our own orders, kept only the ones placed for the 2025+ car, and ranked what those owners bought most. Picks 1 to 6 are in that order. Picks 7 and 8 are not sold by model, so they are unranked; they are here because they fit the new car.
Specs, install times and fit lines below come from each product's own page. Owner quotes are published reviews and forum posts. We print a star rating only where a product has enough published reviews to mean something.
TeslaHubs™ ProGuard Noise and Weather Seal Kit
The new car is quieter. Owners still order this first, and not mainly for noise.
Ask a 2026 Model Y owner why they bought a seal kit for a car Tesla already made quieter and you get three answers: a wind whistle at highway speed that sounds like a window left open a crack, road dust and salt collecting in the door jambs, and doors that shut with a ring instead of a thud.
ProGuard is six rubber strips with 3M adhesive that close the gaps around the front doors, rear doors, pillars, trunk and hood. Air and grit that used to come through the gap meet rubber instead.
8 dB measured in the cabin. Hold it to this: the whistle and the wind rush should drop, and the jambs should stay clean. It will not change tire roar on coarse asphalt; no door seal does.
Fit: choose Model Y / 2025-2027 (Juniper). That is its own cut, and this page opens it for you. The 2020-2024 kit is a different set of strips.
“It seems to cut down the noise on the Highway more so on the city roads. I also bought this to cut down on the dirt and dust in my door jams. I like it when I close the doors, they seem more solid-sounding.”Flynnaz, 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium AWD, published review, February 27, 2026
The trade-off: About 20 minutes of careful work, and the rear hatch can need a few firm closes before the new seal settles. If the highway noise that bothers you is tires, this is not your fix.

After it arrives: three things owners of this car told us
One: wipe the door frame clean and dry, then use the wipes in the box last. They are adhesive primer, not cleaning wipes, and they are what makes the tape hold. Press each strip down along its full length.
Two: the install video was filmed on the earlier Model Y. Owners report the steps are about the same on the new car, and each strip in the Juniper kit is labeled.
Three: if your car has the powered frunk and it will not latch with the hood strip on, leave that one strip off. One owner did exactly that and kept the other five.
A second published review from an owner who ordered the Juniper version: "Overall, good quality, flexible fit, and great protection once installed." Cindy, published review, March 26, 2026.
TeslaHubs™ SpaceBox Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
Wireless CarPlay on the big screen, in the car that still ships without it.
The 2026 Model Y got a new body, a new screen and a quieter cabin. It did not get CarPlay or Android Auto. If your maps, podcasts and messages live on your phone, you feel that on the first commute.
SpaceBox plugs into the USB port in the console and puts CarPlay or Android Auto on the Tesla touchscreen, wireless or wired. The car's own controls keep working around it, and you do not need Premium Connectivity.
The fit is listed as Juniper 2025-2026, and the Juniper version is the one this page opens. It is a different thing from pick 5: SpaceBox puts CarPlay on the big center screen, Dash Screen PRO adds a second display in front of the driver.
Fit: choose Juniper. Works only on cars with the AMD Ryzen computer, which every 2025+ Model Y has.
The trade-off: While SpaceBox is running, the car's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stay connected to it. If Tesla's own navigation and Spotify already cover you, skip this one.

After it arrives: do this first
Two owners of this car left 1-star reviews saying it would not connect. Plug the box into the car's USB port with the included cable, connect your phone over Bluetooth and follow the on-screen steps. If the screen says "blocked" or the link drops, update the box's firmware before anything else: an update can be required to keep up with new Tesla software. If it still will not hold a connection, that is what the 30-day return and the 2-year warranty are for.
TeslaHubs™ Aluminium Caliper Covers
Red calipers behind the new wheels, without a paint shop.
Look through the wheels of a 2026 Model Y and the caliper behind them is plain grey, unless you paid for the Performance. The usual route to red is a paint shop: $500 or more and three days without the car.
These are aluminium covers that hook and screw onto the factory caliper. No glue, no paint, and they come off the same way they went on.
Install is 30 minutes for the set of four, in four finishes: Performance Red, Cyber Cyan, Plaid Yellow and Stealth Black.
Fit: choose Juniper (from 2025). The covers are not compatible with Performance models, so skip this one if you drive the 2026 Model Y Performance. It already has the big red calipers.
The trade-off: You apply the lettering decal yourself, and it is a look, not a brake upgrade. If you want more stopping power, this does nothing for it.

Solar Shield® Roof Sunshade Kit
The old Model Y's roof shade does not fit this roof. This one is cut for it.
The rear section of the 2025+ glass roof is a different shape. Owners who moved their old shade across found that out on delivery day, and an owner on Tesla Motors Club put it plainly: "the pre Juniper shades won’t work."
Solar Shield is a rigid two-piece shade that clips into the existing trim gaps. No adhesive, no tools, and it folds flat into its bag when you want the sky back.
The cabin drops from 153°F to 77°F with the shade in. Your number depends on your sun, but the direction is the point: less heat through the glass and less work for Cabin Overheat Protection while parked.
Fit: choose Model Y / 2025+ (Juniper). The 2021-2024 shade is a separate version and will not sit right in the new roof.
The trade-off: It covers the view through the roof while it is in. Most owners in mild climates fit it for summer and store it for winter; in October in the north you can wait.

Dash Screen PRO Driver Display
Your speed, back behind the wheel where every other car puts it.
The complaint is older than this car and the refresh did not fix it: there is nothing in front of the driver. Speed, range and the blind-spot view all live on the center screen, a glance to the right. One new owner's comment on an accessories video was four words long: "Instrument cluster please."
Dash Screen PRO is a driver display that sits on the dash behind the steering wheel and reads from the car. It shows speed, battery and Autopilot status, adds a blind-spot alert, and runs CarPlay and Android Auto on its own screen.
It plugs in. No cutting, no drilling, and the install is reversible.
Photo shows the version for the 2021-2024 car. The Juniper version is a separate part, and it is the one the button opens.
Fit: choose Juniper. It is a separate version from the one for the 2021-2024 car, and this page opens it for you.
- ShowsSpeed, battery, Autopilot status, blind-spot alerts
- PhoneCarPlay and Android Auto on the driver display
- InstallPlug-in, no cutting, no drilling, reversible
- UpdatesOver the air
The trade-off: It is the highest price on this list and the longest install: plan about 45 minutes. If the center screen never bothered you, your money is better spent on picks 1 to 4.

TeslaHubs™ MagSafe Phone Holder
A phone mount cut for the new screen, with nothing stuck to the dash.
Phone mounts are where new owners waste the most money on this car. A mount in the screen's upper-left corner ends up behind the steering wheel rim on the refreshed car. One owner returned a popular one with the words "You can’t see half of the screen."
This holder slides onto the edge of the display in about 30 seconds, with no adhesive on the dash, and holds the phone beside the screen, not across it. It turns a full 360 degrees for portrait or landscape.
The Wireless Charging version starts charging when the phone touches the magnet and includes the USB-C cable. A metal ring for Android phones and non-magnetic cases is in every kit.
Photo shows the Model Y version for the earlier car. Choose Juniper and the matching kit ships.
Fit: choose Juniper. Model 3, Model Y and Juniper each get their own version; the matching one ships.
The trade-off: One metal ring per kit, so a second driver with a non-magnetic case needs their own. The lower-priced Magnetic Ordinary version holds the phone but does not charge it.

TeslaHubs™ Aluminium Rim Protectors
The rim sticks out past the tire. The first curb finds it.
On this car the wheel lip sits proud of the tire sidewall, so the metal touches the curb before the rubber does. An owner with the 20-inch Helix 2.0 wheels wrote on r/TeslaModelY about the rim guards fitted on day one: "One got scratched within three months and it has paid for itself."
Ours are aluminium rings that seat on the outer lip of the wheel with a 3M bond and take the scrape instead of the rim. They also cover rash that is already there.
Install is 15 minutes with no tools and no jack: clean the lip, prime it with the included sachet, seat the ring.
Fit by wheel: 19-inch Crossflow takes 19 inch, Gemini Silver. 20-inch Helix 2.0 takes 20 inch, Überturbine Black. 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 on the Performance takes 21 inch, Überturbine Black, and one set covers all four corners.
The trade-off: Adhesive-seated rings need a clean, primed lip to hold; rush that step and one can lift. A Juniper owner on r/TeslaModelY wrote of their rim protectors: "After about 6 months, 2 of them had small section that pulled away a bit." Not ranked by Juniper orders: this product is sold by wheel size, not by model.

OmniVolt™ CCS1 and J1772 Charging Adapter
One adapter for the two kinds of charger your new car cannot plug into.
The first long trip in a new Tesla is when owners meet a hotel charger or a fast-charging station with the wrong plug. Away from Superchargers there are two of them: CCS1 on fast chargers and J1772 on hotel, workplace and destination chargers.
OmniVolt is a single adapter with both: CCS1 for DC fast charging up to 250 kW and J1772 for Level 2 up to 80 A. It is UL 2252 Listed with a built-in thermal cutoff and rated IP67.
It opens up more than 12,000 CCS fast chargers, on networks such as Electrify America, EVgo and ChargePoint.
Fit: one version, for every Tesla. To confirm on your car: Controls, Software, Additional Vehicle Information, "CCS Adapter Support: Enabled".
The trade-off: Actual charging speed depends on the station and the car, and the adapter is rated to 500 V, so it is not for stations above that. If you only ever charge at home and at Superchargers, you do not need it yet. Not ranked by Juniper orders: it is not sold by model.

What we left off, and why
Floor mats. Every list for this car leads with them. Ours for the 2025+ car are sold out, and we will not link you to a set you cannot order or to the older car's set.
A rear screen. We sell one for the 2020-2024 Model Y. The Premium and Performance came with one from the factory.
Mud flaps, the Frunk Guard seal, the interior kit, the tilting screen kit and Rim Shield. We make each for the older car and none is cut for the 2025+ body yet. A part that "mostly fits" is how new owners end up with a return label.
Console organizers. We do not sell them. Owners of this car report that trays sized for the old console are too narrow for the new one, so check the year on any you buy elsewhere.
Model Y Standard. We have not confirmed these eight on the Standard trim. If you drive one, read the fit line on each product page before ordering.

3 mistakes new Model Y owners make in the first month
- Ordering a part listed for "Model Y" with no year.Until 2025 there was one Model Y body, so listings never needed a year. Many of them still do not have one. If the page does not say 2025+, Juniper or 2026, assume it was made for the old car.
- Moving the old car's sunshade, mats or mounts across. The roof glass, the floor and the screen all changed. Owners who traded up report that the old shade does not seat, the old screen protector is the wrong size, and the old corner phone mount ends up behind the wheel.
- Buying everything before living with the car.An owner on Tesla Motors Club, on buying everything for a first Tesla: "Most was a Waste of money until you own it for awhile." Start with the one or two things you notice on every drive. That is why this list has eight items and a ranked order, not thirty.
Fit, install, returns and shipping
How do I know each item fits the 2026 Model Y and not the old one?
Every button on this page opens the product with the 2025+ version already selected: "Model Y / 2025-2027 (Juniper)" for ProGuard, "Juniper" for SpaceBox, Dash Screen PRO and the phone holder, "2025+ (Juniper)" for Solar Shield and "Juniper (from 2025)" for the caliper covers. Check that the selected option still says so before you add to cart.
Is the 2026 Model Y the same as "Juniper" and the 2025 refresh?
Yes. Juniper is the name owners use for the refreshed body sold from 2025 onward and now as the 2026 Model Y. A 2025 car with the old front end is the earlier body and takes the 2020-2024 parts.
The new car is already quiet. Do I still need a seal kit?
For tire noise, no. Owners of this car buy ProGuard for three other things: a wind whistle at highway speed, dust and salt in the door jambs, and a more solid door close. If none of those bother you, start with pick 2.
Can I return something if it does not fit or I change my mind?
Returns are open for 30 days. If an item is faulty or we sent the wrong version, return shipping is on us. ProGuard and SpaceBox each carry a 2-year warranty. The refund policy is linked at the bottom of this page.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on every order.
Can I take it all off again?
Yes. Nothing here is drilled, cut or spliced into the car. The seal strips, shade, phone holder, covers and rim rings all come off, and SpaceBox and Dash Screen PRO unplug.
