If the podcast gets louder every time you merge, separate the wind near a seam from the rumble that changes with the pavement. ProGuard is one option for the locations it covers.

Tesla Highway Noise · What Actually Works

A Whistle at the Door or a Rumble Through the Floor? Start There.

This is a TeslaHubs product guide. It does not diagnose every Tesla noise as a seal problem.

Listen for the Location

Wind at a door or pillar and tire rumble need different checks. Notice what changes with speed, wind and road texture.

Have a new rattle, damaged seal or unexplained water leak inspected before adding an accessory.

Before Buying Another Fix

A roof seal, a tire change and panel sound deadening do different work. Ask what the proposed part is intended to address.

Where a Secondary Seal Kit Fits

ProGuard adds rubber seals at the positions described in the selected kit guide. The piece count is not proof that every car has six leaks.

The current selector has separate vehicle-year variants. Match your model, build year and refresh before ordering; ask TeslaHubs if your version is unclear.

The listing calls this a six-strip kit and identifies pillar, door, trunk and hood positions. Match the labeled pieces to the instructions for your car.

Notice What Changes on Your Normal Drive

Compare the sound you identified beforehand. Tire and structural noise can remain even if wind at a fitted seam changes.

An individual phone-meter reading is not a guaranteed outcome for another car.

My car is the new model 3 Performance which is already very quiet compared to the previous model 3 but I still noticed an improvement with less road noise.

The kit arrived well-packed, and each part was labeled correctly. I scanned the QR code provided, and that made the install easier.

Questions Before Fitting

I have tried door seals before and they did nothing.
First establish why the earlier seal missed the problem: profile, placement or a different noise source. ProGuard provides a model-specific kit and fitting guide, but it cannot fix tire rumble simply by adding another strip.
Is the install really that easy?
Allow about 15 minutes with the guide. Identify the pieces and prepare the surfaces first. Take more time if placement is unclear, and check closure after fitting.
Why this instead of full sound deadening?
Panel sound deadening treats transmission and vibration through the areas covered. ProGuard adds seals at listed seams. Choose by the sound source and the work needed; the two jobs do not promise equivalent results.
What noise change can I expect?
There is no typical decibel figure established here. Sean Smith describes quieter long trips, while Scott Kennedy reports less road noise on an already-quiet Model 3. Those are individual experiences.
What if it does not work for my car?
Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unworn, tagged and in original packaging. Return shipping is customer-paid unless faulty or incorrect. Inspect the kit before fitting; this is not an installed trial.
Is it only for noise?
Published reviewers also discuss door-sill cleanliness. Flynnaz writes, “I also bought this to cut down on the dirt and dust in my door jams.” That describes his intended use, not a waterproofing test. Investigate an unexplained leak separately.
