Wind at the door corner? Water in the frunk after rain?
The whistle at the top of the door at 70 mph and the water in the frunk after a storm get in at the seams. ProGuard is a six-strip door seal and noise reduction kit, cut for your Model Y year, that closes them. 100% safe for your Tesla: no drilling, no cutting. $79.99.

The short answer
ProGuard sells a separate Model Y 2025-2027 (Juniper) version next to the 2020-2024 one, both $79.99. Six strips cover both pillars, all four doors, the trunk and the hood, pressed in by hand: no drilling, no cutting.
Pick your Model Y year →The highway roar, the whistle at the top of the door and the water you find after a storm or a car wash look like three different problems. All three get in at the seams where a door, a pillar, the trunk or the hood meets the body.
Maybe you opened the frunk the morning after an all-night rain and found the bag wet. Maybe you already asked service and heard it is normal. Maybe you tried a one-strip roll that never fit the door, turned the music up every highway drive, or keep a towel in the frunk for rainy days. None of that touches where the noise and the water get in.
Tesla's factory seals close most of each gap. ProGuard adds a second rubber layer where they leave space: both pillars, all four doors, the trunk and the hood.
“My Y will leak water into the frunk in heavy rain, will these kits cure that?”

That is the seam the hood strip covers: it runs along the frunk lid. More on the frunk in number 5.
The list
Five things to know before you pick your year, starting with the one Juniper owners ask first.
Juniper owners often tell us Tesla already upgraded the seals. It did change the Model Y body for 2025, and ProGuard changed with it: pick Model Y 2025-2027 (Juniper) or Model Y 2020-2024 on the product page, both $79.99. The strips add a second layer on top of the factory seals, and Juniper owners still hear the difference on the highway.
The install video shows a pre-Juniper car. Juniper owners say the steps are about the same.
“It seems to cut down the noise on the Highway more so on the city roads.”

The strips are pressed in by hand along the existing seams. Nothing is drilled and nothing on the car is cut. Each piece comes with an adhesive-prep wipe, and an installation guide and video are included.
“Each piece comes with a preadhesive wipe, that's helped do the trick. Press firmly as you go and take your time.”

The product page reports owners measuring more than 6 times less noise with a sound meter after installing. Road and tire noise is loudest where the doors meet the pillars, and the door and pillar strips seal those edges.
Owners describe it the same way: music they no longer have to turn up, trucks they no longer hear passing.
“I would honestly say that my car is noticeably quieter. I can hardly hear cars driving by while I'm sitting at a light.”

"that top corner is where i get my wind noise," one commenter wrote under a YouTube video on Tesla wind noise. It usually starts where the glass, the door frame and the pillar meet. The pillar strips close that corner, and the difference shows up most on the highway, which is where wind noise lives.
“It reduced the wind noise in my M3 significantly. It finally sounds more like a luxury car when I am driving on the fwy.”

Back to the owner who asked whether these kits cure a frunk that leaks in heavy rain. The hood strip runs along the frunk lid and seals that edge; the trunk strip does the same along the hatch.
The same seams let rain, car-wash water and road dust in at the doors. The strips add a barrier against water, dirt and dust, which is why owners also notice cleaner door sills.
“Water is kept out in both rain and car wash!”

“much better quality with better adhesive, larger seals for a nicer fit to keep out air, dust, and moisture.”

Juniper tip from owners: test-fit the hood strip before pressing it down. On some 2025-2026 cars it sat too thick for the frunk to latch; those owners left it off and the other strips still sealed the doors and pillars.

All of that only works if the strips fit your year and stay put. Cheaper kits exist. Before you pick one, check these five things.

“The first one I bought on Amazon was actually a cheap AliExpress kit that fell off in a week. These guys are making a quality product! ... 3M tape makes all the difference. The seals' tape is thicker, and I can literally close the door by pulling them.”

Yes. Pick Model Y 2025-2027 (Juniper) on the product page. It is a separate version from the 2020-2024 kit.
The product page reports owners measuring more than 6 times less noise with a sound meter after install. That is owners' own measurement, not a lab test, and your result depends on your car, your tires and your roads.
The hood strip seals along the frunk lid and the door strips seal the door seams against rain and car-wash water. On some 2025-2026 cars the hood strip is too thick for the frunk to latch, so test-fit it first.
It should not. Keep the drain holes at the bottom of each door clear when you press the strips in.
There is no drilling and nothing on the car is cut. The strips press in by hand along the existing seams.
Test-fit first: hold each strip against its seam before you peel the backing. If the kit is not right for your car, an unused kit goes back within 30 days of delivery through the Return Center. Once it is installed, ProGuard is covered by a 2-year warranty.
The next storm, you hear the wipers, not the door corner. ProGuard for Model Y is $79.99 (regular $179.99), Juniper included, with a 2-year warranty and 30-day returns.
