For weather protection, start with where dirt or moisture appears. ProGuard adds model-specific seals at listed contact areas. Investigate water entering the cabin before treating it as an accessory problem.

You wipe the sill, open the door after the next drive, and the same area is dirty again. Before adding a seal, look at the location: a door sill, a trunk contact area and water inside the cabin call for different checks.
A damaged original seal or unexplained leak needs diagnosis. An added strip should not hide the problem or interfere with the way a door or hatch closes.
Use these checks before buying:
Start with the location you want to address.
Use the fitting diagram and your vehicle version to choose the next step.
A universal strip needs the right profile, length and placement. A model-specific kit helps narrow those decisions, but you still need the exact variant and guide.
A strip that catches when you close a door needs a placement check. Do not force it or assume a poor fit is normal.
Likewise, one seller’s piece count cannot be compared directly with another’s. Review the actual locations, shapes and instructions.
ProGuard is one multi-location option, not the only one. Compare what comes with the selected kit and the support available for your vehicle.
Secondary seals sit at the contact areas described in the installation guide. That explains the product’s intended job without guessing why Tesla chose its original seal design.
The ProGuard listing describes six model-specific rubber strips. Identify each supplied piece and its intended position before fitting.
Three fitting checks:
Choose the exact vehicle and build year. The product page lists separate Model 3, Highland, Model Y, Juniper, S, X and Cybertruck variants.
Check the covered locations. The listing identifies pillar, door, trunk and hood positions; use the selected kit diagram for exact placement.
Prepare the surfaces as instructed. Check closure after fitting and contact TeslaHubs if a piece or step is unclear.

I also bought this to cut down on the dirt and dust in my door jams.
My car is the new model 3 Performance which is already very quiet compared to the previous model 3 but I still noticed an improvement with less road noise.
The rear hatch took a few tries to close to get settled.
The quieter rides make long trips so much more enjoyable.
Compare current price, exact vehicle fit, supplied pieces and the guide. Another kit may cost less and may cover several locations too. A like-for-like comparison is more useful than assuming cheaper means wrong.
The current Model 3/Y price is $79.99. Choose it for the selected kit and support, not a claim that all other options require several purchases.
ProGuard adds secondary sealing at the covered locations. It does not replace every factory seal or establish that a factory fault is present.
Published reviewers report individual experiences. Those reports do not establish a typical decibel improvement or a guaranteed result for every car.
Plan around 15 minutes using the guide, with more time for surface preparation and any unclear placement.
Identify each piece before removing its adhesive backing.
