Pick your model, then your year.
Tesla has never built Apple CarPlay into its screen. What decides whether an adapter works is the processor: AMD Ryzen works, Intel Atom does not. Tesla began shipping Ryzen in December 2021 and every current model has it, Cybertruck included. Cars from 2017 to 2022 may have either one.
To be sure, read it straight from your car. No app, no tools, no service visit:
A small box that connects to your Tesla's USB port and puts maps, music, calls and messages on the main screen. It works only on Ryzen cars, which is why we start with the check.
Plug the box into the USB port, connect to its Wi-Fi (called H-BOX), open hbox.link in your browser, and pair your phone over Bluetooth. A printed guide and a video walk you through it. Depending on your car, a Tesla software update may be needed first.
