TeslaHubs ProGuard Advanced Noise Reduction & Weatherproofing Kit
Six strips, four noise zones, 15 minutes
- 6 rubber strips for the door, pillar, trunk and hood gaps
- Cut for your model: 3, Y, S, X or Cybertruck
- 15-minute install, no tools, video and PDF guide
- Owner sound-meter readings at 70 mph: 78 dB before, 65 dB after
Most Tesla wind noise gets in at the seams: the door edges, the pillars, the trunk lid and the hood line. ProGuard puts a rubber strip on each of those gaps, cut to the shape of your model.
Owners hear it on the first highway drive. One Trustpilot reviewer compared it with “the $39.00 cheap kits sold online” and wrote that his car is “about 8DB quieter on the road.” Another went “for a one hour highway drive after installation” and found “the sound ‘deading’ was obvious.”
Fitting takes about 15 minutes with no tools, using the video and PDF guide. Pick your model and year on the next page; shipping is free.

The current listing is a Model 3 Highland kit with door, pillar, frunk and trunk strips.
Arcoche Wind Noise Reduction Kit
Listed on Arcoche’s own store for Model 3, Model Y, Highland and Juniper. The lowest price here; check the piece count against the gaps you need sealed.
Abstract Ocean Noise Reduction Kit
Sold out at our October 2026 check; it was a $10 clearance, final sale. It seals only the roof-glass perimeter, so it treats one gap, not the doors.
How to pick a Tesla wind-noise kit
1. Count the gaps it seals, not the pieces in the box. Wind gets in at the door edges, pillars, trunk lid and hood line. A kit that only seals the doors leaves the rest open.
2. Buy the cut for your model. A Model 3 and a Model Y have different seams, and a strip a few millimetres too thick can stop a door or frunk closing flush.
3. Rubber over foam. Rubber strips hold their shape through summer heat and winter cold; foam compresses over time.

What Owners Measured With Sound Meter Apps
Up to 6X quieter on the highway, with up to 40% less road noise at highway speed. Owners who ran a phone sound-meter app before and after fitting ProGuard report readings like these:
| Measurement | Before ProGuard | After ProGuard |
|---|---|---|
| Highway (70 mph) | 78 dB | 65 dB |
| Heavy rain | 74 dB | 62 dB |
| City driving | 58 dB | 52 dB |
A 13 dB drop at highway speed is roughly the difference between a busy restaurant and a quiet office. ProGuard is backed by a 2-year product warranty.
Sound figures are customer-reported readings from third-party sound meter apps. Results vary by car, speed and road surface.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. ProGuard sticks onto existing seal surfaces and does not change any mechanical or electrical part of the car.
Owners who measured with a phone sound-meter app report readings like 78 dB before and 65 dB after at 70 mph. Wind noise at the seams drops the most; tire rumble from the road surface is not something any seal kit removes.
Yes. ProGuard takes about 15 minutes with no tools, using the video and PDF guide.
Adhesive type and removal guidance differ by kit. Use the manufacturer's preparation and removal instructions, and do not infer paint safety without product-specific evidence.
ProGuard lists Model Y 2025–2027 (Juniper) and Model 3 2024–2027 (Highland) as their own options. Pick yours in the fit chart above or on the product page.
For most owners, yes. Wind gets in at more than one seam, and one kit that covers the doors, pillars, trunk and hood costs less than stacking two or three single-area kits.
What Our Customers Say
The quieter rides make long trips so much more enjoyable.
My car is the new model 3 Performance which is already very quiet compared to the previous model 3 but I still noticed an improvement with less road noise.
Going for a one hour highway drive after installation proved the sound 'deading' was obvious. I also liked the solid sound of the door closing after installation.
Our verdict
If the wind gets in at the doors, pillars, trunk or hood, ProGuard is the kit we would buy: six strips cut for your model, a 15-minute install with no tools, 4.5 stars from 1,000+ reviews, and $79.99 for Model 3 or Model Y.
If your noise is tire rumble that changes with the road surface, no seal kit fixes that, so skip this category.
