Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla has introduced a new Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Cybertruck priced at $59,990, the most affordable configuration so far, but the pricing is temporary.

The release follows the short-lived Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) Cybertruck that launched at $69,990 and was discontinued last year. That RWD model lacked a powered tonneau cover and bed outlets, while the new $59,990 AWD version keeps those features.

A Real Work Truck

Instead of removing utility, the base configuration keeps the powered tonneau cover and Powershare capability, including 120V and 240V outlets in the bed. For work sites, the ability to power heavy-duty tools from the vehicle's battery is preserved.

To reach the sub-$60k price, the suspension changes from adaptive air to a coil spring setup with adaptive damping. Although ride height adjustment is no longer available, the truck still delivers a 0-60 mph time of 4.1 seconds and an EPA-estimated range of 325 miles, matching more expensive trims.

Interior Trade-offs

Inside, a tactical grey textile interior replaces the premium vegan leather. The $20,000 difference compared to the Premium (formerly Long Range) AWD variant corresponds with the loss of the 15-speaker audio system (reduced to seven) and the 9.4-inch rear entertainment display. Rear passengers lose heated seats, and the front seats are no longer ventilated.

The 10-Day Countdown

Elon Musk stated on X to confirm that the $59,990 price applies "only for the next 10 days."

With the Premium AWD at $79,990, the entry version is unlikely to remain at this price. A potential increase of $10,000 would align it with the original $69,990 RWD price, while a $5,000 adjustment would keep it just under the $70,000 threshold.

For buyers considering a utility-focused Cybertruck, there is a little over a week before the price rises; the exact amount of the increase is not yet known.
